30 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 10 – A written line

Day 10 – A written line

I’m thankful for a writer’s lineage.  My mom has published poetry and various articles.  She engraved ‘Writer’ on my heart–I didn’t see it for years.

My daughter exhibits a writer’s heart. On several occasions, I’ve questioned the legitimacy of her poems and stories. “Morgan, did you really write this?” And yes, she wrote every word.  Her creativity and simplicity blow me away.

I’m not pretentious. I have considerably much to learn of this craft, but I’m thankful for 3 generations of writers.
